Wednesday Wash Day

Wednesday the weather was better and the kids walked to school except Rachel who wasn't ready in time so Emily ran her to school in the van. Then she attacked the laundry. The amount of laundry generated by a family of eight is truly impressive. Consider the pictures below.

Sorted and ready to load

Then there was folding and putting away. Rachel and Jessie wanted to play games. Rachel and I split a pair of Uno games. I think I am improving. We went to lunch at Culver's which is famous for frozen custard. We had sandwiches and frozen custard which was delicious. After lunch Sam took a nap while Emily took Jessie for a hair cut.

Jessie came home unhappy with her haircut. She did not want to pose for a picture.

...but then she looked up...

The kids came home from school and started their practicing and homework.

After dinner everyone gathers in the living room to see the number prepared for Dancing with the Stars.

Finally Dad came home from scouts. Scripture reading and prayers. Story reading. And then off to bed. Mom, Dad and Grandpa enjoyed visiting for a while before they were off to bed too.
